Housekeeping Room Attendant (Part-time)

JOB SUMMARY:

The Housekeeping Attendant performs cleaning duties in all guest areas and back of house. This role consistently offers professional, friendly, and engaging service. The Housekeeping Attendant ensures housekeeping departmental standards are followed. This position assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests. One must be available to work weekends, nights and holidays.

ESSENTIAL/PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Performs cleaning duties in all guest areas, back of house and event space

• Offers professional, friendly, and engaging service

• Ensures housekeeping departmental standards are followed

• Reports necessary maintenance items

• Follows departmental policies and procedures

• Follows all safety and sanitation policies

• Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests

SECONDARY DUTIES:

• Performs other duties as assigned and responds to guests requests as necessary

• Supports staff when overflow is needed 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma with 2 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

COMPETENCY/SKILL REQUIREMENTS: 

• Strong ability to read and comprehend instructions

• Advanced ability to work cohesively as part of a team

• Excellent conversationalist with a pleasant and professional personality

• Proficient multi-tasking and decision making skills 

• Basic computer skills

• Working knowledge about all equipment associated with the location

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• No supervisory responsibilities
