About the Role
We are seeking a housekeeper for our 16-bed, home-style medically managed withdrawal management facility. This role is a great fit for someone looking for a workplace with opportunities to grow, and/or who is interested in learning more about the mental health/substance abuse field.

Schedule
- Thursday & Friday 7am-330pm
Compensation & Benefits
- $21/hr
- Sick Time (40 hours annually)
- Time and a Half Holiday Pay
- 401k and up to 3% match after 3 months of employment
- Up to $400 per year for approved CEUs
- All required licensure/certification costs for position paid for by the company
What You’ll Do
- Clean and sanitize patient rooms, including beds, furniture, fixtures.
- Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Empty and clean waste containers, including hazardous waste, following proper disposal procedures
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas, such as dining room, hallways, living rooms, restrooms
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels in designated areas.
- Follow established protocols for infection control and adhere to safety guidelines at all times.
- Operate cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners, safely and efficiently.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic understanding and knowledge of the recovery community
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift/move heavy objects when necessary.
- Familiarity with infection control practices and safety regulations in healthcare environments.
- Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial work, preferably in a healthcare setting, is advantageous.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment operation, and proper chemical handling is desirable.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with patients, visitors, and fellow staff members.
- Current CPR certification, or willingness to obtain via company-paid class within 6 weeks of hire.
Position is contingent on passing an OHA Background check and successful completion of a urine analysis (UA) after accepting job offer
