Housekeeping Attendant

Position Overview

Housekeeping Associates are responsible for the cleanliness of guest rooms all common areas of the hotel, as well as washing, folding and distributing laundry all along providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all of Cape Ann’s Marina Resort policies and procedures
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance while wearing the CAM established uniform
• Service guest rooms and common areas in accordance to established hotel procedures
• Maintain appropriate levels of supplies and organization in housekeeping carts
• Maintain a friendly and approachable attitude towards both guests and other employees
• Document any deficiencies in guest rooms and common areas and report to direct supervisor
• Maintain a stock of clean linen and towels
• Follow established lost and found procedure
• Respect all CAM equipment, appliances and supplies and use with care
• Obey all HIPPA rules and regulations
• Also performs any other such duties as requested by the general manager

Job Requirements

• Reliable transportation
• The ability to pay close attention to detail
• An ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• An ability to stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 20 pounds on a regular basis

This position is a seasonal position and is a part time position. Full time is considered 32 hours or more per week. At times you may exceed the full time hours depending on the weekly needs.
