The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and overall appearance of guest suites and public areas within the resort. This role involves cleaning, organizing, and maintaining guest suites and common areas to provide a welcoming and comfortable environment for all guests. The Housekeeper plays a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences through meticulous attention to detail and adherence to cleanliness standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Room Cleaning:

  - Clean and sanitize guest rooms according to the resort's standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms.

  - Replace linens, towels, and amenities as needed.

  - Replenish guest room supplies, such as toiletries, coffee, and tea.

  - Report any maintenance issues or damages to the Housekeeping Manager.

Public Area Maintenance:

  - Clean and maintain public areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational facilities.

  - Ensure public areas are clean, organized, and free of hazards.

  - Monitor and replenish supplies in public restrooms and other common areas.

Guest Interaction:

  - Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.

  - Respond to guest requests and inquiries promptly and courteously.

  - Provide information and assistance to guests as needed.

Inventory Management:

  - Monitor and report inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities.

  - Ensure proper storage and organization of cleaning supplies and equipment.

Adherence to Standards:

  - Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.

  - Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the resort.

  - Participate in training and development programs to stay updated on cleaning techniques and safety protocols.

Team Collaboration:

  - Work closely with other housekeeping staff and departments to ensure efficient operations.

  - Assist with special projects and deep cleaning tasks as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper.

  - Support and train new housekeeping staff as needed.Qualifications: Qualifications:

Experience:

  - Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred but not required.

  - Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment.

Skills and Abilities:

  - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  - Good communication and customer service skills.

  - Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy items (up to 25 lbs).

Certifications:

  - High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

  - Certification in housekeeping or hospitality management is a plus.
