Housekeeper

Job Details: Job Location: Sandpiper Beach Club - Cape May, NJ, Salary Range: $18.00 - $18.00Hourly, Position Overview:  

Main responsibility is to clean and sanitize guest rooms.

These duties may be described as, but not limited to:

Report to work as schedules in proper uniform.
Clock in/out on company’s time system.
Organize housekeeping cart and storage closet.
Remain friendly and out going towards guest at all times.
Report to supervisor any unsafe condition in guest room or hotel hallways.
Make sure that all guest amenities and supplies are in the proper place in each room.
Ensure every room is free is debris and dust.
Remove all soiled linen (dish trays) from hallways after completing each assigned guest room if a floor houseman is not scheduled.

Other:

Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.

Upon employment, all employees are required to fully comply with the Sandpiper rules and regulations for the safe and effective operation of the hotel’s facilities. Employees who violate hotel rules and regulations will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Ability to work under pressure required.
Maintain consistency from room to room.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school or equivalent required.
Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
