Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented household assistant to support our busy professional family in Cumming,
Georgia. You will manage laundry, grocery shopping, meal prep, school logistics, childcare, and light household
cleanup and organization. This is a stable, long-term opportunity with built-in growth potential—hours and
responsibilities can expand as you demonstrate reliability and initiative.

Responsibilities
Laundry & Household Management
• Manage all family laundry (washing, drying, folding, ironing as needed)
• Organize and maintain household linen inventory
• Keep laundry areas clean and organized
Grocery Shopping & Meal Prep Support
• Shop for groceries based on weekly meal plans and family preferences
• Organize pantry and refrigerator
• Prepare ingredients for meals (chopping, marinating, prepping)
• Assist with light cooking tasks under direction; support meal timing and plating
• Keep kitchen clean and organized between meals
School Logistics & Childcare
• Manage school pickup and drop-off schedules
• Ensure children are ready for school on time with necessary materials
• Pick up children from extracurricular classes and activities
• Provide homework support and supervision

• Engage with children during family downtime (light educational activities, safe outdoor play, homework help)
• Maintain communication about school events and academic progress
Light Household Cleanup & Organization
• Daily tidying of common areas (kitchen, living spaces, entryways)
• Loading and unloading dishwasher
• Hand-washing dishes and keeping sink clean
• Light vacuuming and surface cleaning as needed
• Organization of household items, children’s spaces, and shared areas
• Maintaining a clean, organized home between deep-cleaning days
• Pantry and refrigerator organization
Additional Duties
• Running household errands (dry cleaning, banking, etc.)
• Flexible responsiveness to family scheduling needs

Qualifications
Required: - Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license - Ability to work independently and follow instructions -
Excellent organizational and time-management skills - Punctuality and consistency - Background check clearance
– MANDATORY (must pass before employment begins)
Preferred: - Prior household assistant, nanny, or childcare experience - Experience with meal planning and
grocery management - Comfort with children and education support - Strong attention to detail
Skills: - Patient, warm demeanor with children - Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously - Clear, proactive
communication - Attention to detail and organization

Career Path
Months 1–3: 20 hours/week (part-time foundation)
Months 4–6: Potential increase to 25–30 hours/week
6+ Months: Opportunity to transition to full-time (40 hours/week) with benefits discussion
