House Manager/ Housekeeper for a Family in Columbus

We are seeking an experienced, proactive House Manager/Housekeeper for a busy family in Columbus, Georgia. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in running a household efficiently, notices what needs to be done without being asked, and enjoys creating an organized, welcoming home. Daily responsibilities include family laundry, changing bed linens weekly, maintaining the kitchen, loading and unloading the dishwasher, cleaning countertops, meal planning and preparing family dinners, grocery shopping, managing household inventory and supply lists, running errands, organizing projects, handling returns, taking out the trash, breaking down boxes, watering plants, and performing routine household upkeep. Additional responsibilities may include coordinating vendors, seasonal decorating, and other tasks that help keep the household operating smoothly.

The ideal candidate is an excellent cook who is comfortable preparing meals for varying numbers of family members, has strong organizational skills, and understands how to properly care for a home without constant direction. The family is looking for someone who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and dependable—someone who naturally sees what needs attention, follows through, and keeps the home tidy throughout the day. They would appreciate someone who can keep a notebook with household updates, maintain shopping and to-do lists, and communicate proactively. Requirements
