We are searching for an engaging, courteous Host who is passionate about food and beverage and hospitality. The host will greet customers, engage in conversation and be the first impression they receive of the outlet. Hosts also take Ala Carte orders, process payments, package the orders and deliver to the room. The host will also maintain a clean and well-stocked workspace and continuously expand your knowledge of the food and beverage/hospitality industry.

To succeed as a host, you should be committed to providing customers with excellent service. You should be positive, friendly, knowledgeable, and polite.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they arrive for their meal, engage in conversation, answer their questions and be the first impression they receive of the outlet. Seat the guests according to table preference and server rotations.
• Take orders for Togo/Pick Up requests, process payment on Micros, assemble order for pick up.
• Take Orders for Ala Carte (Room Service). Process room charge payment, assemble the order and deliver to the room via knock and drop. Place follow up call to guests to ensure satisfaction.
• Set up & stock Ala Carte area with Togo items.
• Stock and maintain a clean Host stand/FOH area.
• Assist servers and bussers as needed.
• Working as part of a fun, high-energy team.
• Adhering to all food safety regulations and quality controls.

Requirements

• Must be 14 years old. Experience is preferred but not required
• Training and willingness to continue learning about food, beverage and hospitality
• Exceptional listening and communication skills.
• Ability to walk, bend, and stand for extended periods.
• Availability to work around peak hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
• A polite, engaging and outgoing personality.
• Commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence.
• Willingness to work as part of a high-energy, efficient team in a fast-paced environment.
