About the Role:Join the vibrant team at Stocks Investments Inc, dba Golden Corral in Roxboro, NC, as a Hot Cook! In this exciting role, you'll prepare delicious meals that delight our guests while working in a fast-paced, friendly environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace during shifts.
- Assist in inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
- Monitor food quality and presentation before serving to guests.
- Participate in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety protocols.
- Adapt to changing menu items and special requests from guests.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or cooking role preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Passion for cooking and creating memorable dining experiences.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the culinary field.
