Restaurant Hostess

We are looking for a Restaurant Hostess to serve as the first point of contact for guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere and keeping the dining room running smoothly.

Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and offer a friendly goodbye as they leave.
Assign tables fairly among servers, escort guests to their seats, and provide menus.
Manage reservations and waitlists, including answering phone calls, scheduling bookings, and giving accurate wait time estimates.
Address initial guest questions about the menu and handle basic concerns to ensure a positive dining experience.
Keep the host stand and entryway clean, organized, and stocked with menus.

Strong verbal communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to track table turnover, server workloads, and party sizes at the same time.
Ability to stay calm, polite, and efficient in a fast-paced or crowded environment.
Comfortable multitasking and coordinating with servers and kitchen staff as needed.
