Our team of hosts and servers work together to provide excellent hospitality to our guests in a fast-paced environment. Our hosts are the front line of our restaurant and provide the first impression our guests receive. We're looking for friendly, efficient, and confident people who can give our guests a good impression of the restaurant right out of the gate. Hosts should be able to handle multiple tasks at once and work well under pressure, keeping a positive attitude even during busy times. They should also be able to provide excellent customer service and make sure that all guests have a positive experience at our restaurant.

As a Host you will have responsibilities such as:

• Maintain a clean and orderly restaurant floor
• Bag or box food that is for to-go
• Greet customers when entering or leaving the restaurant.
• Maintain a clean and tidy checkout area.
• Bring a spark of energy to every shift!
• Be organized and knowledgeable about the restaurant floor and table numbers.

And have following required knowledges, skills, and ability:

• Ability to smile and communicate clearly with guests.
• Able to arrive at work on time and reliably.
• Ability to stand on your feet for a long time.

Our restaurant is a fun, fast-paced place to work. We're a team of people who are passionate about food and service. We're always looking for ways to improve and make our guests happy!

The Mustard Seed was started in 1978 in Missoula, Montana by a group of friends and family. Included in that group were sisters Betty and Nancy Tokumoto and Betty's husband, David Hall. Betty and Nancy grew up in Okinawa, Bangkok, and Hawaii and attended college in Oregon; so, they have a unique ability to blend the cooking styles of the Far East with the tastes of the Pacific Northwest. Our recipes were created or inspired by the Tokumoto sisters.

Salary: $12/hour plus tip share
