We're not authentic. We're uniquely Cactus.
Since 1990, we've grown from a single Madison Park restaurant into six Puget Sound locations built around one clear idea: serve the food your guests love and crave, filtered through your own point of view, made with local ingredients, and never stop improving it. That's produced more than 3,000 unique menu items over 35 years — dishes inspired by the American Southwest and Mexico that you won't find anywhere else, because we invented them.
The results have followed. Twice named a Seattle Times Top 10 Restaurant of the Year. Best Mexican Restaurant by 425 Magazine readers for fourteen consecutive years. Best Margarita, Seattle Times People's Choice. And Best of Western Washington by KING 5 Evening Magazine in 2012 — and again in 2025. That gap is the part we're most proud of.
Now we're growing. Our first Boise location opens early winter 2026, followed by Woodinville in spring 2027. There's more to come.
What makes that possible is the team. Cactus is built by people who care about hospitality, take pride in their craft, and want to grow alongside a company that takes its culture seriously. We believe great restaurants start with strong people, clear standards, and a genuine commitment to making others happy. If that sounds like you, we'd like to meet.
