Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm, friendly attitude upon arrival
- Manage waitlists and seating arrangements to ensure efficient table turns
- Communicate wait times clearly and accurately to guests
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to monitor table availability
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting front-of-house area
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist with general guest inquiries
- Assist with takeout order handoffs and ensuring a smooth guest departure experience
Requirements:
- Prior hosting, customer service, or front-of-house experience preferred
- Outgoing, friendly personality with strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy service periods
- Reliable, punctual, and a true team player
- Comfortable standing for extended periods in a fast-paced cafe environment
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
