About the Role: The Host / Hostess is the first and last impression for our guests. You'll greet visitors, manage seating and reservations, and keep the flow of the dining room smooth and welcoming.
Key Responsibilities:
• Warmly greet and seat guests and manage the waitlist
• Take and organize reservations and maintain the seating chart
• Balance seating across server sections for even service
• Answer phones and respond to guest inquiries
• Communicate wait times and coordinate with servers
• Keep the entrance and host area clean and organized
Qualifications
• Friendly, professional, and welcoming demeanor
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Stays composed during busy, high-volume periods
• Prior host or customer-service experience a plus
• Able to stand for long periods
• Reliable with flexible availability
