Unit Description
Delaware North is the food, beverage, and retail provider at Little Caesars Arena. The 20,000-seat venue opened in 2017 and is home of the NHL's Detroit Red Wings and the NBA's Detroit Pistons. We provide a full accompaniment of services, including concessions and premium dining services in a variety of innovative club areas, loge boxes, and suites.
Responsibilities
- Assist with new-hire orientation and the onboarding of team members at the venue
- Coordinate team member scheduling on event days and track associate attendance
- Support team member check-in on event days
- Perform end-of-event tasks, including the closing of stands and retail transaction reports
Qualifications
- Must be currently pursuing a degree.
- Exhibit a professional, approachable, client-service-oriented demeanor.
- Passion for teamwork and focus on high-level client service.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; present ideas clearly and concisely.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for the entirety of the shift
- Will bend, twist, crouch, push, pull, grasp items, and climb stairs throughout the shift
- Occasional lifting up to 35 pounds
