Hood Vent Cleaning Technician

Rolling Suds is looking for a dedicated and skilled Hood Vent Cleaning Technician to join our team. As a Hood Vent Cleaning Technician, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to our customers and completing commercial kitchen exhaust cleaning jobs to the highest standards.

Previous hood vent cleaning or commercial kitchen exhaust cleaning experience is required.

Employment Type & Pay

• Starting pay: $21.00+ per hour, depending on experience
• Position starts as a 1099 contractor
• Contract-to-hire opportunity for the right candidate based on performance, reliability, quality of work, attendance, and overall fit with the team
• Evening and night shifts required

Hood Vent Cleaning Technician Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Lead Technician to ensure hood cleaning jobs are completed efficiently and professionally
• Clean commercial kitchen exhaust systems, including hoods, filters, ductwork, and exhaust fans
• Properly remove grease, buildup, and debris from exhaust systems
• Follow established hood cleaning procedures and safety standards
• Set up and safely operate cleaning equipment
• Protect customer property and maintain a clean work area
• Complete all job checklists and required documentation
• Provide professional and courteous service to customers
• Work effectively as part of a team

Hood Vent Cleaning Technician Qualifications

• Previous hood vent/exhaust cleaning experience required
• Commercial kitchen exhaust cleaning experience required
• Ability to climb ladders and work safely at heights
• Ability to perform general labor and lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in commercial kitchens and physically demanding environments
• Reliable and dependable
• Strong attention to detail
• Valid driver's license required
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be available for evening and night shifts
