Come join the team at HCI Sports & Fitness! As a premier sports and fitness center located in Bee Cave, our team is in search of an energetic leader for our Homeschool PE Coach role. If you enjoy working with children and have a passion for sports, fitness, or just staying active, then this position is for you! 

Requirements

What you'll do:

• Lead groups of children through various physical fitness games, activities, and sports during our Homeschool PE and enrichment programs
• Follow provided curriculum plans to ensure Homeschool PE & enrichment programming is meeting appropriate developmental milestones for all participants
• Ensure activities are high energy, fun, safe, and create a positive overall experience for participants and parents
• Assist with the setup and cleanup of equipment and props used during programming 
• Maintain consistent, professional, and respectful communication with program participants, parents/guardians, and HCI staff
• Adhere to safety standards and rules while providing appropriate supervision for participants
• Demonstrate good judgment, alertness, and self-control in the presence of children and when performing assigned responsibilities
• Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and a love for physical activity among students

What makes you a great fit:

• Experience working with children ages 5-10, with an emphasis in recreation, physical education, and/or sports
• Experience leading enrichment activities such as art, STEM, nature, and other hands-on learning experiences
• Ability to motivate and inspire children of varying skill levels
• Dependability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently
• Patience, positivity, and must enjoy working with children

Scheduling Requirements:

• Must be available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays during the school year for Homeschool PE & enrichment programs. Shifts are Tuesdays & Thursdays from 11:30 am - 1:15 pm and Wednesdays from 11:30 am - 2:15 pm)
