Homebuilding Internship

Job Description

David Weekley Homes is seeking motivated and enthusiastic Interns to join our Colorado Springs team. This hands-on internship offers the opportunity to learn from experienced homebuilding professionals, gain exposure to residential construction and discover what it takes to deliver an exceptional homebuying experience.

What You’ll Experience:

• Gain firsthand exposure to the entire homebuilding process, from pre-contract activities through construction, closing and post-closing service
• Learn the day-to-day responsibilities of a Builder, including scheduling, quality assurance, safety, cost management and material control and/or exposure to multiple areas of the homebuilding industry, including sales, marketing, purchasing, and general operations.
• See the David Weekley Way in action and understand the standards that guide how we build homes and serve our Customers
• Develop an understanding of how exceptional Customer Service contributes to homeowner satisfaction and overall business success

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a full-time college program with an interest in pursuing residential construction, real estate or related field. 
• Part-time or Full-time up to 40 hours per week
• Must have housing available in the Colorado Springs area for the duration of the internship

Additional Information

Pay: $20/hour
