Role Summary

As an Occupational Therapist, you will help clients strengthen the skills needed for safe, independent living at home. This role exists to evaluate functional needs, design practical interventions, and guide progress through individualized therapy.

Key responsibilities include assessing client condition and daily-task performance; identifying physical, developmental, or emotional barriers that affect routine activities; creating and carrying out treatment plans for physical limitations, mental health concerns, and learning challenges; reviewing the client’s home/school/work setup and recommending adaptations; and providing education and support to family members and caregivers.

Required qualifications/skills:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Strong clinical assessment and care-planning skills
- Clear documentation and communication with clients and caregivers
- Ability to work independently with sound judgment

A Typical Day

Your day is organized around client needs and clear documentation. You’ll move from one scheduled visit to the next, taking time to observe how clients manage everyday routines in their own environment. Between visits, you’ll update notes, confirm upcoming appointments, and coordinate practical next steps with caregivers so everyone understands the plan. You’ll also set aside time to reflect on progress, adjust short-term goals, and prepare for upcoming evaluations so each session stays focused and measurable.
