Responsibilities:

Provide personal care, including bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, and mobility assistance.
Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration) as directed.
Assist with toileting needs and basic health management, including catheter and G-tube care.
Support clients with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, vacuuming, and dishes.
Practice infection control and adhere to safety protocols, including proper use of PPE.
Communicate changes in client conditions to the RN and participate in care planning.
Provide respectful emotional support, ensuring a positive and professional interaction with clients and families.

Qualifications: Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred.
CNA certification in good standing on the Iowa Direct Care Worker Registry preferred.
1-2 years of experience in home care, nursing home, or hospital settings preferred.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and insurance required.
