Job Details: Job Location: West Des Moines Office - West Des Moines, IA, Position Type: Part Time, Salary Range: $18.00 - $20.00Hourly, Job Shift: Evening, At Iowa Home Care, we believe care begins with people who genuinely care. As a Home Health Aide / CNA, you’ll make a meaningful difference every day by helping clients live safely, independently, and comfortably in the place they love most—their home.
Under the direction of our skilled nursing staff, you’ll provide compassionate personal care, support daily routines, and build trusting connections with each visit.

What You’ll Do
Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, and mobility support
Take and record vital signs as directed
Assist with toileting, catheter care, and G-tube care
Help with light housekeeping such as laundry, dishes, and vacuuming
Follow infection control and safety protocols using appropriate PPE
Communicate any changes in condition to the RN and care team
Offer emotional support and a compassionate presence during every visit

Qualifications: Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
CNA certification in good standing on the Iowa Direct Care Worker Registry preferred.
1-2 years of experience in home care, nursing home, or hospital settings preferred.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and insurance required.
Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care, with a commitment to client safety and well-being.
