Home health care Representative of Business Development

About the Role:BrightStar Care of Lakeland and Winter Haven is looking for a driven and passionate Business Development Representative to help grow our home health care presence in the community. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference by connecting families and healthcare partners with the compassionate, high-quality care services they need. Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain referral relationships with hospitals, physicians, skilled nursing facilities, and other healthcare partners
• Conduct outside sales calls and community outreach to drive home health care referrals and grow census
• Represent BrightStar Care at networking events, health fairs, and community organizations in the Lakeland and Winter Haven areas
• Collaborate with the clinical and operations team to ensure smooth client onboarding and satisfaction
• Track and manage sales activity, referral sources, and pipeline using CRM tools
• Identify new market opportunities and develop strategic territory plans to meet growth targets
• Educate referral sources and the community on BrightStar Care's full range of home health and personal care services

Requirements:

• Previous experience in home health, hospice, healthcare sales, or business development strongly preferred
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals in a healthcare or related environment
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills with a consultative sales approach
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently in the field
• Familiarity with the Lakeland and Winter Haven healthcare community is a plus
• Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation required
• Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
