Home Health care Registered Nurse- pediatric experience

About the Role:Brightstar Care of Lakeland and Winter Haven is looking for a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse with pediatric experience to join our dedicated home health care team in Lakeland, FL. Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled in-home nursing care to pediatric patients in accordance with physician-ordered care plans
• Perform assessments, monitor patient progress, and document clinical findings accurately
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed
• Educate patients and family members on care procedures, medications, and health management
• Coordinate with physicians, therapists, and care team members to ensure continuity of care
• Respond to changes in patient condition and adjust care plans as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with state and agency standards

Requirements:

• Active Florida RN license in good standing
• Pediatric nursing experience required (home health experience a plus)
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and patient/family education abilities
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach with the ability to work independently
