Abernathy Home Care is hiring Certified Home Health Aides (HHAs) for current client needs. We offer flexible scheduling, full-time and part-time opportunities, paid travel time between clients, and the chance to provide meaningful one-on-one care in a client's home.

Whether you're looking for a few shifts each week or want to build a more consistent schedule, we'll work with your availability and current client needs to find opportunities that may be a good fit.

What You'll Do

As an HHA with Abernathy Home Care, you'll provide individualized care and support that helps seniors and adults continue living safely and comfortably at home.

Responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
• Helping with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living
• Preparing meals
• Providing medication reminders
• Assisting with light housekeeping and household tasks
• Providing companionship and conversation
• Driving or accompanying clients to appointments and errands
• Supporting individuals living with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia
• Observing and reporting changes in a client's condition
• Following individualized care plans
• Helping clients maintain their comfort, safety, and independence

What You Need

• Current Massachusetts Home Health Aide (HHA) Certification
• Current TB documentation
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Strong communication skills
• Dependable and professional attitude
• Compassionate approach to working with seniors and adults who need support
