Home Equity Specialist

We are looking for a Home Equity Specialist who combines lending expertise with exceptional member service to guide members through the home equity lending process from application to approval.

In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor, helping members access the value of their homes while identifying solutions that support their broader financial needs. What You'll Do

Originate and manage home equity loan applications from start to finish.
Build relationships with members, prospects, and referral sources.
Analyze and underwrite loans within approved lending authority.
Educate members on lending options, credit, and financial solutions.
Identify opportunities to cross-sell loans, deposit products, and digital banking services.
Partner with mortgage, processing, and title teams to ensure a smooth lending experience.
Maintain compliance with all applicable lending regulations and policies.

Qualifications: What You'll Bring

1-3 years of mortgage, home equity, or consumer lending experience.
Strong knowledge of lending regulations, including SAFE Act, ECOA, FCRA, TRID, ATR, QM, and Reg Z.
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and sales skills.
Experience with underwriting and credit analysis preferred.
Ability to obtain and maintain Mortgage Loan Originator (NMLS) registration.

The pay range for this position is $24/hr-30/hr based on experience.
