Job SummaryWe are seeking a Home Care Scheduler (Care Specialist) to join our team. In this role, you will collect, manage, and report on scheduling information. This important position helps us provide comprehensive, consistent patient care by coordinating medical and health services. The ideal candidate is empathetic, highly organized, has excellent customer service skills, and can travel to service areas.   Responsibilities 

• Coordinate internal and external staffing needs
• Assign clients to the appropriate clinicians
• Use cloud-based scheduling software
• Maintain an up-to-date list of on-call and backup staff and use it to secure last-minute coverage
• Communicate with caregivers regarding any updates or changes to their schedule
• Communicate with managers and clients to inform them of any schedule or staffing changes
• Assist in the hiring, training, and management of new staff

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous experience as a Home Care Scheduler or in a similar position is preferred
• Highly organized with attention to detail
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office and other computer programs
• Ability to multitask and prioritize projects
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Must have CNA/HHA/PCA
• Must have a reliable vehicle at all times 
• Must be able to multitask
• Must be able to type
