About the Role:Join ANGEL CARE HOME COMPANION SERVICES as a Home Care Companion, where you will provide compassionate support to our clients in Southold, NY. This rewarding role allows you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need while working with a dedicated team that values care and companionship.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including meal preparation and personal hygiene.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
• Monitor clients' health and report any changes to the supervising nurse or family members.
• Help clients with mobility and transportation to appointments or social events.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
• Document care provided and maintain accurate records of client interactions.
• Adhere to all safety and health regulations while providing care.
• Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in home health care is a plus.
• Previous experience in home care or caregiving preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and assist clients with mobility.
• Compassionate demeanor and a genuine desire to help others.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and health screenings.
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
