Hiring for RN - Emergency Room in Rockford, IL

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to provide high-quality, fast-paced patient care. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of ER experience, preferably in a Level I Trauma Center environment.

Job Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week
Shift: 12-Hour Evening/Night Shifts
Schedule: Weekend and Holiday Rotation Required 

Pay Rate 
Toal weekly gross pay $2412 - $67/hour($33/hour W-2 taxable , $34 non taxable stipend ) 

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
• Provide emergency nursing care using the nursing process and clinical best practices.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established standards.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond quickly to changes in status.
• Develop and maintain individualized patient care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Provide patient and family education.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Apply critical thinking to promote patient safety and quality care.
• Participate in quality improvement and unit-based activities.

Requirements

• Active Illinois RN License required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required.
• Level I Trauma Center experience preferred.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC or TNS required at the time of submission.
• Ability to work evening/night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
