Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join a high-acuity, fast-paced emergency department. This role requires nurses who are confident managing a diverse patient population, including behavioral health, trauma, emergency, boarding, and critically ill patients requiring ICU-level care.

Traveler Pay Rate - $82/hour ($43/hour W-2 taxable , $39/hour non taxable stipend) - $2952 Total weekly gross for 36 hours / week 

Unit Details

• Large Emergency Department with 118 beds
• Typical nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:6
• Mixed patient acuity ranging from stable to critically ill
• Dynamic environment requiring strong critical thinking and adaptability

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and provide care for emergency and critically ill patients
• Manage multiple patient types, including trauma, behavioral health, and ICU-level cases
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow clinical protocols
• Respond effectively in high-pressure situations

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) or ICU experience (post-orientation)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong critical care skills and emergency response experience
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Travelers must reside outside the required local radius guidelines
