What You'll Do
As a Senior Helpers Caregiver, you'll provide personalized care that helps our clients maintain their independence. Responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene
- Helping with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention
- Providing companionship and meaningful conversation
- Preparing meals and assisting with feeding when needed
- Performing light housekeeping and laundry
- Offering medication reminders
- Observing and reporting changes in a client's condition
- Accurately documenting care provided
- Communicating with clients, families, and our office team
- Accompanying clients to appointments or running errands as needed
What We're Looking For
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Excellent attendance and punctuality
- Reliable transportation (valid driver's license preferred)
- Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle check, and drug screening
- Caregiving experience is preferred but not required—we'll train the right person
- Experience with Dementia or Parkinson's care is a plus
