Are you a hands-on IT professional who enjoys solving problems, supporting end users, and improving technology experiences? Trissential is hiring a Helpdesk Specialist to join our client's team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a mix of day-to-day technical support and technology modernization projects, including device deployments, ServiceNow enhancements, Intune adoption, Autopilot implementation, and macOS support initiatives.

Your Role & Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 helpdesk support for end users and resolve complex technical issues
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and operating system problems
• Escalate advanced issues to Level 3 support teams when necessary
• Deploy, configure, build, and provision new desktop and laptop devices
• Install and maintain business applications and endpoint software
• Coordinate device deployments with end users and managers to ensure a smooth onboarding experience
• Support and maintain personal computers, servers, LAN/WAN connectivity, and data communication technologies
• Assist with ServiceNow workflow improvements for IT teams and end users
• Support the adoption and enhancement of Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot provisioning processes
• Contribute to improving support and functionality for macOS devices
• Maintain accurate documentation for incidents, requests, deployments, and project activities

Skills & Experience You Should Possess

• 2 to 5 years of helpdesk, deskside support, desktop support, or "at-the-elbow" IT support experience
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across hardware, software, and operating systems
• Experience supporting Windows-based environments
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals including LAN/WAN technologies
• Experience with endpoint deployment and device provisioning
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple support requests in a fast-paced environment
• Experience using ticketing systems and IT service management tools

Candidates with less professional experience may still be considered if they have relevant coursework, technical education, internships, or related academic experience.

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience with Microsoft Intune administration and device management
• Hands-on experience with Windows Autopilot
• ServiceNow administration, workflow creation, or enhancement experience
• Experience supporting macOS devices in an enterprise environment
• Exposure to infrastructure, server support, or systems administration
• Experience participating in hardware refresh or technology deployment projects

Education & Certifications You Need

• Associate's Degree, Technical Diploma, or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred

Relevant technical certifications are a plus, including:

• CompTIA A+
• CompTIA Network+
• Microsoft Endpoint Administrator Associate
• ITIL Foundation
