HEALTH AIDE/CNA

Job DetailsJob Location: 125 Amory St - Jamaica Plain, MA 02119Salary Range: $16.00 - $28.05This position is per diem and will cover as needed in the department for vacations, leaves of absence, call-outs, evenings & weekends.

Pay Range:  The expected base pay for the position is $16-$28.05 per hour and may be increased based on other factors, such as language, certifications, etc.

We are seeking a compassionate, highly skilled, and patient-focused Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA). The ideal candidate will provide specialized dementia care techniques to reduce confusion, prevent wandering, and improve the quality of life for participants with Alzheimer’s or other related dementias. Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, incontinence care, and feeding, provide safe mobility support and transfers using gait belts, wheelchairs, or mechanical lifts. Prepare nutritious meals, and perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe, clean environment.
QualificationsCNA or HHA certification required, with at least 3 years of dedicated experience in a memory care setting or a skilled nursing facility. The candidate should have patience, empathy, and ability to communicate effectively. The candidate should also have the ability to handle heavy physical demands, including lifting, bending, stooping, and transferring clients and a strong work ethic, dependability, and the ability to work independently.
