Head of Marketing

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Head of Marketing based in United States.

The Head of Marketing will lead the full marketing function, with responsibility for demand generation, positioning, product marketing, brand, communications, agencies, and budget management. Reporting directly to the CEO, this leader will shape marketing strategy while remaining accountable for programs, execution, and marketing-sourced pipeline. You will partner closely with Sales and Product leadership to influence market direction, strengthen positioning, and support product launches and enablement. The role also includes building and developing a multidisciplinary marketing team spanning growth, product marketing, brand, and operations. A key focus will be creating an AI-enabled marketing operating model that uses AI agents to support strategy, execution, and continuous iteration. You will also establish customer communities and feedback programs that strengthen customer relationships while generating valuable product insights and references.

Accountabilities:

• Own the marketing function and overall strategy, including demand generation, market positioning, product marketing, brand, communications, agency relationships, and budget management.
• Lead demand-generation programs designed to create measurable marketing-sourced pipeline and support business growth.
• Develop and communicate a clear perspective on evolving market dynamics, including buying behavior, pricing models, and category development, and work with Sales leadership to translate those insights into business action.
• Own product marketing across the product portfolio, including positioning, launches, go-to-market support, and sales enablement in partnership with Product.
• Define and maintain core brand positioning, messaging, and marketing communications while managing agency and PR relationships.
• Lead, develop, and support a multidisciplinary marketing team spanning product marketing, growth, brand, and marketing operations.
• Build an AI-enabled marketing operating model that incorporates AI agents into strategy development, campaign execution, optimization, and iteration.
• Establish and manage a customer community program, including user groups and focus groups, to generate product feedback, strengthen engagement, and develop customer references.
• Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to align marketing priorities with broader business objectives.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in a fast-growing B2B SaaS environment.
• Demonstrated ownership of demand generation and marketing-sourced pipeline.
• Proven experience managing and developing a multi-function marketing team.
• Strong fluency with AI and the ability to apply AI as an operating capability within marketing.
• Deep product marketing experience, particularly across product launches, positioning, and enablement, is preferred.
• Experience in commerce intelligence, retail media, martech, or adtech is preferred.
• Experience presenting to institutional investors and boards is a plus.
• A demonstrated track record in category creation or thought leadership is preferred.
• Strong strategic thinking, market analysis, communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
