What you'll bring to the team

We're seeking an experienced Head of Gateway Revenue Management, North America to lead pricing, revenue optimisation, and trading strategies across more than 20 attractions, including SEA LIFE, Madame Tussauds, and Peppa Pig Theme Parks. This is a highly influential role that sits at the heart of commercial decision-making and plays a key part in delivering revenue growth across the region.

Working closely with Go-To-Market, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Consumer Proposition teams, you'll leverage data, market insights, and customer trends to maximize admissions revenue and identify new growth opportunities. You'll act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, driving best practices in revenue management while balancing commercial performance with exceptional guest experiences. 

This role is ideal for a commercially minded leader who combines strong analytical capability with strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and a passion for driving business performance.

Qualifications & Experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with key stakeholders – Go-To-Market/Growth, Consumer Proposition, Operations and Finance to achieve and outperform financial objectives, revenue budget.
• High level of entrepreneurship and commerciality required to drive revenue performance and identify new growth opportunities in market.
• Monitors and course correct key trading decisions.
• Be a trusted partner to Go-to-Market Directors on revenue management and trading.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, providing insight into local market dynamics, demand generators, and revenue trends.
• Work hand in hand with Marketing, E-Commerce and Trade teams to find new revenue opportunities, and actively problem solve any roadblocks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate new product and promotional launches, ensuring they align with revenue goals and are delivered on time.
• Engage stakeholders through impactful communication, delivering presentations with confidence, poise, and a style that aligns with Merlin’s values.
• Responsible for driving engagement and buy-in across the business in the region on revenue management. Clearly communicate revenue management objectives to key stakeholders at all levels.
• Act as a regional subject matter expert on pricing, revenue management, promotional strategies, and channel management, identifying which strategies best suit specific market conditions.
• Adjust pricing strategies proactively by conducting analysis, research, implementing testing, and monitoring competitor pricing and market trends.
• Utilise historical data, current trends, and industry insights to refine pricing models and maximise revenue potential.
• Proactively identify new growth opportunities in the region.
• Quickly identify any issues and escalate to Director of Revenue Management.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Data Science, Business, or a related quantitative discipline
• At least 6 years' experience in Revenue Management, Pricing, Commercial Analysis, or Consultancy
• Strong expertise in pricing strategy, revenue optimization, forecasting, and commercial performance management 
• Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations
• Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills, including experience presenting to senior leadership teams
• A proven track record of identifying growth opportunities and influencing business decisions
• Experience in dynamic pricing, demand forecasting, or advanced analytics would be advantageous
• Previous experience within attractions, tourism, travel, hospitality, or leisure sectors is highly desirable
