Hayride Driver

Position Overview: Linvilla Orchards is looking for responsible, friendly, and safety-focused individuals to join our seasonal team as Hayride Drivers for the fall season. As one of our most popular attractions, hayrides bring thousands of guests through our orchards and festive fall displays. Drivers play a key role in ensuring our visitors have a safe, enjoyable, and memorable experience.
Responsibilities:

• Safely operate tractors pulling hay wagons along designated routes.
• Load and unload guests in a courteous and organized manner
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting riders, answering questions, and assisting families as needed.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain awareness of guests on and around wagons at all times.
• Assist with wagon setup, daily inspections, and minor maintenance checks.
• Communicate effectively with other staff, supervisors, and event managers to ensure smooth operations.

Schedule

• Seasonal position, September through early November.
• Flexible scheduling with peak hours on weekends and evenings.

Requirements

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit, drive, and operate equipment for extended periods.  
• Ability to assist guests, including small children and seniors, safely onto and off wagons.  
• Comfortable with moderate lifting (up to 50 lbs.) if needed.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.  
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.    
• Friendly, reliable, and customer-focused attitude.  
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
