About the Role:Innovative Tech Solutions Inc is looking for a talented and driven Hardware Design Engineer to join our growing team in Palo Alto, CA. Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and test hardware components, circuits, and systems from concept to production
• Create and review schematics, PCB layouts, and hardware specifications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including firmware, software, and mechanical engineers
• Perform hardware debugging, root cause analysis, and design validation testing
• Develop and maintain technical documentation including BOMs, design files, and test reports
• Evaluate and select components, working closely with vendors and suppliers
• Support design-for-manufacturability (DFM) and design-for-testability (DFT) reviews

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in hardware design and development
• Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium, KiCad, or Eagle)
• Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design principles
• Experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters
• Familiarity with communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, USB, or Ethernet
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a collaborative engineering environment
