JOB SUMMARY

Responsible preparing all drinks for the Steakhouse and Saloon. Serving food and drinks to guests in an efficient and friendly manner, ensuring guest satisfaction and generating return business. This position will also be responsible for maintaining pour costs, inventory products, cleanliness of the work area, cashing handling, customer service, and responsible for alcohol service.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Promote exemplary guest service standards through prompt, efficient, and friendly service.
2. Efficiently takes drink orders and enters into the POS system and handles payment methods appropriately.
3. Prepares food and drink orders and promptly delivers orders to guests.
4. Must be able to mix ingredients and prepare cocktails and other drinks as requested for the Steakhouse and Saloon.
5. Responsible for pouring and mixing alcoholic beverages and/or non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and procedures.
6. Maintains a neat and clean station continually.
7. Ensures that alcoholic beverages are being served responsibly.
8. Report any health standards or safety needs immediately to Supervisor.
9. Keep the Supervisor apprised of operational concerns including recipes, inventory, and supply needs.
10. Maintain daily pour cost, inventory, and cleanliness of the work area.
11. Stock beer, wine, liquor, ice, mixers, and dry goods.
12. Washes and stocks glassware and utensils.
13. Adhere to company policies, regulatory laws, codes, and department procedures.
14. Promote internal guest service standards with courteous and respectful behavior with co-workers.
15. Performs other duties as assigned.

ACCESS TO SENSITIVE AREAS:

1. Food and Beverage storage area.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. One (1) year of Bartending experience within the past five (5) years.
2. Possesses working knowledge of wines, beer, and liquor.
3. Effective communication-good auditory acuity, able to respond to questions and provide information.
4. Demonstrate interpersonal skills and abilities that promote positive guest services.
5. Need to stand or walk for long periods; perform routine bending and lifting of product up to 20lbs.; perform repetitive motions of arms, hands, wrists, and fingers; and occasionally lift and maneuver up to 50lbs; to work in a varied (hot, cold) environment.
6. Exhibits a professional demeanor through appearance and by maintaining a positive attitude toward all employees and guests.
7. Possess or obtain a Food Handler Certification and an OLCC card within 30 days of employment, with permit application submitted by first day of employment.
8. Requires a criminal history background check.
9. Must be at least 21 years old.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Cocktail serving or bartending experience within the past two years.
