Position Summary:
Planet Fitness is looking for a talented and professional Hairdresser to join our team and provide exceptional grooming services to our members. As a Hairdresser, you will have the opportunity to create a positive experience for our members by offering high-quality haircuts, styling, and other personal care services. This role requires a commitment to delivering excellent service in a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.Qualifications: Key Responsibilities:

Welcome and consult with clients to understand their hair and grooming needs.
Perform haircuts, trims, and styling with attention to detail and precision.
Maintain a clean and organized salon area, adhering to sanitation and safety standards.
Educate clients on hair care maintenance and recommend suitable products.
Assist in the day-to-day management and upkeep of the Black Spa amenities, ensuring all services and spaces meet high-quality standards.
Collaborate with team members to ensure an exceptional experience for our members.
Provide a welcoming, customer-first experience that aligns with the judgment-free philosophy of Planet Fitness.

Qualifications:

Active state Hairdresser license.
Previous experience as a Hairdresser is preferred.
In-depth knowledge of various hairstyles and current trends.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Physical Demands:

Physical stamina to stand for extended periods.
Ability to bend, stretch, and reach to perform haircuts and other styling services.
Capability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of clients.
Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to perform precision cuts and styles.
