Guard II (Active Secret Clearance Required - Temporary job)

Five Rivers Analytics (FRA), an Akima company is looking to hire a temproary Security Guard II to join one of our current contracts. You will be providing a secure and safe work environment for employees through escorting of uncleared visitiors while performing on site projects. This is a 6 days 10-hour shift shift.

Responsibilities

The Guard II enforces regulations and procedures designed to prevent breaches of security, exercises judgment and uses discretion in responding to incidents and emergencies, determining whether to intervene directly, ask for assistance as time permits, keep situation under control or surveillance, or to report incident or situation to the appropriate authority for handling. Duties require specialized training in methods and techniques of protecting controlled areas.

• Secures premises and staff by monitoring persons and facilities under their purview
• Inspects buidlings, equipment, and access poitns; permits entry to job site
• Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities
• Informing violaters of policy and procedures; reporting trespassers
• Controls traffic by directing vehicle drivers and equipment operators to job site
• Completes report by recording observations, informaiton, ocurrences, and surveillance activities
• Maintains organizations stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements
• Contributes to Team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• U.S. Valid Driver's License
• An Active Secret Security Clearance
• Able to work a 10-hoiur shift scheduled between Monday and Saturday
