Company Overview
Wildarts is an arts focused afterschool program for Pre-K through 5th graders located inside a school on the UWS/lower Harlem in NYC. We offer enrichment programs in Music, Theater, Dance, Visual Arts, Sports and Games, STEAM and more.
Position Overview
Group leader will Guide students through afterschool programs consisting of mealtime, outdoor play, arts activities, and homework help. Primarily helping Pre-k through 5th graders. They will work closely with Teaching artists in visual art, theater, dance, sports and games to facilitate learning and creativity.
Key Responsibilities
- lead students through structured activities
- student supervision
- individualized support (help students with homework or if they are struggling in the group setting)
- conflict resolution
- maintaining a safe and inclusive environment
- participation in staff meetings
Requirements
at least 1 year experience with childcare (not baby sitting or taking care of cousins/siblings)
Pay Range
USD $17.00 - USD $17.00 /Hr.
