JOB TYPE:                              Full-Time, First Shift, Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM. Overtime and Saturdays as required.

REPORTS TO:                        Casegoods Supervisor

FLSA STATUS:                        Non-Exempt

DESCRIPTION

This position will be responsible for meeting production and shipping dates; maintaining production and quality standards, training associates and maintaining a safe working environment.  This position will coordinate 20 or more people in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage employees daily activities to meet production goals
Ensures production, quality and safety standards are met
Lead and direct employees to work in a productive, efficient and safe manner
Interact with the other manufacturing teams to prioritize and close out orders
Plan and provide training to employees on processes and equipment
Enforce plant rules and regulations
Play a key role in implementing LEAN manufacturing philosophies, techniques, and practical process improvements.
Perform other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate will have 2 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong leadership skills
Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Clear English communication skills (oral and written).  Spanish a plus.
Must be computer literate.
Ability to train others
Must be able to have reliable transportation
Must be able to work overtime as required
