Job Summary:
Army Navy Country Club is seeking a dependable, engaging Group Fitness Instructor to lead in-studio classes. We are particularly interested in instructors experienced in kickboxing, barbell strength, HIIT, circuit training, and cardio formats.
Responsibilities:
• Plan and lead safe, effective, and motivating group fitness classes.
• Create a welcoming experience that encourages participation and builds class attendance.
• Offer exercise modifications for a range of fitness levels and abilities.
• Use engaging music and clear instruction to guide participants.
• Be available to teach in person and, when needed, virtually.
Qualifications:
• Current nationally recognized group fitness certification or relevant specialty certification or license.
• Current CPR/AED certification.
• Experience teaching group fitness classes or working in a related fitness or wellness role.
• Strong communication skills and a member focused approach.
• Current fitness professional liability insurance.
Experience with formats such as PiYo or P90X and the ability to cover additional class formats
are preferred.
Class availability: Morning classes may begin at 8:30, 9:00, 10:00, or 11:00 a.m. Evening
classes may begin at 5:00, 5:30, 6:00, or 6:30 p.m.
