Job Purpose

As a Grocery Team Member, you will play an important role in supporting multiple areas of the store while providing exceptional customer service. Team members are hired with the opportunity to be trained as cashiers and cross-trained throughout the store, including produce, dairy, bulk foods, freight, quality control, and scanning/inventory. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy variety, learning new skills, and being part of a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver friendly, knowledgeable customer service throughout the store, including assisting customers with product questions and store navigation

Perform cashiering responsibilities by ringing up customers with friendliness and efficiency

Ensure the safety, cleanliness and sanitation of all front-end areas.

Stock, rotate, and maintain merchandise in various departments

Support produce, dairy, bulk foods, freight, quality control, and scanning/inventory functions as assigned

Receive, organize, and replenish products to maintain department standards

Perform light janitorial and other duties daily as assigned

Qualifications: What We Are Looking For:

Competence in basic math skills for processing transactions and managing inventory

Willingness to cross-train and work in multiple departments

Strong interpersonal skills to deliver excellent customer service

Flexibility to learn and perform other duties as needed to support store operations

Dependable, positive, self-motivated and team-oriented

Ability to be positive, energetic, self-motivated, reliable and punctual

Capability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive lifting and bending

Part-time and Full-time positions are available 

Monday - Friday availability with the ability to work Saturdays and Sundays on a rotating schedule

$12 - $16/hr, DOE
