About the Role:Serial Grillers in Tucson, AZ is looking for a passionate and skilled Grill Cook to join our fired-up team! Responsibilities:
- Operate and manage grill station during service, including searing, and grilling meats, vegetables, and other menu items
- Prepare and cook food orders accurately and efficiently to meet ticket times
- Maintain proper food temperatures, cooking times, and portion control standards
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling and storage of raw proteins
- Set up, break down, and clean grill station before and after each shift and assist with other stations
- Communicate effectively with kitchen team and front-of-house staff during service
- Assist with prep work including seasoning and portioning products
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a grill cook, line cook, or in a similar kitchen role
- Ability to work in a high-heat, fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of grilling techniques, meat temperatures, and food safety standards
- Food Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Positive team-player attitude with strong communication skills
