Government Contracts Manager, Medical Informatics

This role sits at the intersection of healthcare technology, government procurement, and regulatory compliance, supporting mission-critical medical software solutions used by federal healthcare and defense organizations. You will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of government contracts, ensuring compliance with complex acquisition frameworks while enabling smooth delivery of medical informatics solutions. The position requires close coordination with legal, sales, finance, and technical teams to translate regulatory requirements into executable business processes. You will play a key role in pricing governance, contract structuring, and government system submissions, including pricing catalogs and compliance documentation. The environment is highly cross-functional, detail-oriented, and driven by strict regulatory standards and operational excellence. This is a strategic and hands-on role with direct impact on revenue execution and government program success.

Accountabilities:

• Act as the subject matter expert on U.S. Government, DoD, and VA acquisition and contracting processes related to medical software and informatics solutions.
• Manage end-to-end government pricing and contract data processes, including DINPACS price books, catalog submissions, and updates within DLA and other systems.
• Review and coordinate responses to RFIs, RFPs, and solicitations, ensuring accuracy in pricing, compliance, and contractual terms.
• Track and manage CLINs, contract modifications, task orders, and option periods across government agreements.
• Support ATO-related processes and ensure alignment with cybersecurity, security controls, and deployment requirements.
• Develop and maintain standardized procedures, documentation, and internal governance for government contracting activities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, Sales, Product, and Operations teams to ensure contract execution and compliance across the lifecycle.
• Monitor regulatory changes in federal acquisition, cybersecurity, and healthcare IT, and communicate impacts to stakeholders.
• Support contract negotiations with government agencies and prime contractors in coordination with legal and leadership teams.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and documentation on contract status, pricing updates, and key milestones for leadership visibility.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Public Administration, Health Informatics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in U.S. Government contract management, with exposure to DoD and/or VA healthcare or health IT environments.
• Strong understanding of federal acquisition processes, including FAR/DFARS concepts, CLIN structures, IDIQ contracts, and contract modifications.
• Experience managing government pricing structures, price books, or catalog-based submissions.
• Familiarity with ATO processes, cybersecurity compliance, and software deployment in regulated government environments.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across Legal, Sales, Finance, Technical, and Operations teams.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into clear business actions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce or similar CRM/sales enablement tools.
• Highly desirable: experience in health IT, strong stakeholder management skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in complex environments.
