Description

The Golf Experience Associates at Inside 18 creates a fun and welcoming environment for Inside 18/Spooky Nook Sports guests by providing hospitable and engaging guest services, maintaining a clean environment, and assisting with operations of simulators, mini golf, and occasionally help with the arcade.

Schedule: Primarily weekends with occasional weekday evenings

NOTE: Because this position will involve routine interaction with children, all candidates must successfully obtain the following clearances PRIOR to beginning employment:

• PA State Police criminal history record,
• PA Child Abuse Clearance, and
• FBI Fingerprint-based criminal history clearance.

Essential Job Functions

• Sell access to Inside 18 mini golf and/or the simulator by operating a POS device and handling cash
• Take ownership of the space by keeping equipment organized and being attentive to maintenance needs, general cleanliness, and upkeep such as emptying trash or wiping down surfaces.
• Engage with guests in a kind and encouraging manner, being present and available for any questions and concerns.
• Collaborate with the Food & Beverage department to provide concessions, restaurant food, and/or alcohol
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• PA Child Abuse Clearance and FBI Fingerprint Criminal History Clearance: Must be dated within the past 5 years and specifically for employment (not volunteer). NOTE: If you do not have already these clearances, you will be provided with instructions when an offer of employment is made. Results can take up to 4-6 weeks. Both clearances must be presented before employment can begin.
• 18 years of age or older
• Comfortable with technology
• Dependable transportation to and from work
• Language skills: Fluent knowledge of the English language; including the ability to read and interpret written information and speak and understand verbal communication
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and occasional weekday evenings
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Highly dependable with a history of consistent attendance and punctuality

Working Conditions

• Work environment: Upbeat, high-energy sports and event complex with heavy foot traffic and frequent large crowds.
• Physical requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the team member will be regularly required to perform physical activity that includes moving about the work area, standing, sitting, bending, reaching with hands and arms, lifting, pushing, pulling, talking, hearing and smelling. The team member will be frequently required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. He or she is required to have the visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned.
• Lifting requirements: The team member will be required to lift, push, pull, lower and/or move up to 40 lbs occasionally.
• Noise Level: The noise level in this environment is typically variable.
