Position Overview
Silverthorne Advisory Group is seeking an experienced GIS Senior Analyst with over 10 years of technical expertise to support Air Force geospatial and audit remediation initiatives. This role bridges advanced geospatial data analytics, database management, and field validation with Air Force Real Property and installation infrastructure requirements. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience identifying complex spatial data gaps, performing enterprise-level data remediation, and translating spatial findings into actionable business intelligence using modern analytics platforms. 

Key Responsibilities

Geospatial Analysis & Data Remediation
- Identify, investigate, and remediate complex spatial and attribute data gaps across Air Force geospatial datasets.
- Evaluate linear structure geometry, segmentation, length, and classification discrepancies between GIS layers and property management systems (e.g., NexGen IT / TRIRIGA).
- Execute advanced spatial QA/QC routines to detect missing, obsolete, duplicated, or fragmented spatial data.

Technical Assistance & Field Validation
- Lead virtual technical assistance sessions with base-level Geospatial Integration Offices (GIO) and Real Property personnel to troubleshoot complex mapping issues.
- Conduct targeted site visits and field validation available tools when desktop data is insufficient.
- Establish clear validation boundaries for underground utilities and linear assets, converting data uncertainty into defined engineering/survey requirements.

Reporting & Data Visualization
- Translate complex geospatial findings, remediation metrics, and audit progress into clear documentation, corrective action reports, and executive summaries.
- Develop interactive dashboards and reporting views to track data quality improvements and post-remediation metrics over time.

Qualifications & Requirements

Required Experience & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in GIS, Geography, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in enterprise GIS suites.
- Strong working knowledge of CAD/as-built engineering drawings, aerial imagery interpretation, and survey integration.
- Demonstrated track record of diagnosing root-cause data discrepancies (e.g., topology errors, schema misalignments, broken linear networks) and implementing systemic remediation plans.
- Experience utilizing field collection equipment (high-accuracy GNSS/GPS collectors, mobile LiDAR, or rangefinders).

Preferred Skills:
- Business Intelligence: Experience building data visualizations, automated reports, or dashboards using Power BI.- Familiarity with Air Force Real Property management platforms (NexGen IT / TRIRIGA)
