Job SummaryWe are seeking a Geriatric Nurse to join our team! As a Geriatric Nurse, you will spend your time caring for our aging patients, administering medication, and following up with clients and maintaining accurate vitals and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Make rounds to check on each patient assigned, assessing current well-being and making notes on issues as needed
- Administer prescribed medications as directed
- Assisting other nurses or nurses aids as needed to keep the shift moving and provide excellent care
- Being a positive, supportive presence to our aging patients
Qualifications
- Active, valid nursing license within the state
- Experience working with an aging population desired
- Comfortability working independently and within a team
- The ability to multitask and work well under pressure
