The general maintenance technician performs routine facility upkeep and minor repair tasks to maintain building condition and appearance. 

Functional responsibilities:

Execute, track, and complete work orders in a timely manner
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities to include HVAC, Plumbing, electrical and mechanical equipment
Wall patching and painting
Drywall repair
Caulking and sealing
Door hardware and door jamb 
Ceiling tile replacement
Minor carpentry
Basic plumbing fixture adjustments (non-licensed scope)
Minor electrical fixture replacement (within licensed capability)
Supervise external contractors for specialized services
Routine building upkeep tasks

This position does not have responsibility for structural repairs, renovations, capital improvements, or code-driven upgrades.
Qualifications
Basic experience in facility maintenance, including minor repairs and troubleshooting.
Proficiency in MEP, system monitoring (BAS)
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.
Strong attention to detail, especially regarding safety and equipment operations.
Basic understanding of safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
Reliable transportation and commitment to meeting project deadlines.
