Job Details: Job Location: 14271 NW SCIENCE PARK DR - PORTLAND, OR, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Cornel's Plumbing, Heating, and Air is a fast growing, locally owned, home services company. www.cornelsplumbing.com We are seeking a Warehouse Helper to join our team.
The General Laborer is a hands-on support role that keeps job sites safe, clean, and running efficiently. You’ll assist across departments with tasks like loading materials, organizing inventory, helping with cleanouts, digging trenches, delivering tools, and other physical work as needed. This is a great role for someone dependable, eager to learn, and ready to grow their skills in the trades.
Pay range: $18-20/hour
Hours: Full-time, set schedule, weekend availability
Build & Develop
Show up ready to work and grow; take initiative and be reliable.
Learn from skilled tradespeople and support their work in the field.
Maintain a clean and organized shop, yard, and truck fleet.
Represent Cornel’s in a professional and respectful way on job sites and in the community.
Hit Your Targets
Complete assigned tasks quickly and safely with minimal supervision.
Keep trucks, tools, and job sites clean and well-stocked.
Be available and responsive to support the needs of plumbing and HVAC crews.
Stay productive and contribute to the daily flow of operations.
Accountability
Arrive on time and ready for physical work in all weather conditions.
Own your responsibilities, communicate clearly, and follow through.
Follow all safety procedures and wear proper gear at all times.
Take care of company property, tools, and vehicles like they’re your own.
Qualifications: Valid driver's license
Ability to lift and carry over 50 lbs regularily
Willingness to follow the hungry, humble, smart tenets of the company
